Os EUA estão sucumbindo ao fascismo? Rumores a esse respeito são um pouco exagerados. Em todo caso, o debate se instalou:
“Three Yale professors who have studied and written extensively on authoritarianism are leaving America. Many Americans are “like people on the Titanic saying our ship can’t sink,” Marci Shore says. “And what you know as a historian is that there is no such thing as a ship that can’t sink.”

Timothy Snyder (the guy on the left, and one of the first to flee) literally wrote the instruction manual on what to do if fascism takes over, and at no point did it say “run.” Very disappointing.”

Não creio nessa tragédia: os EUA são um país muito diverso e livre para virar fascistas do dia para a noite. Essa enfermidade direitista-aloprada é só o resultado de um bando de imbecis terem chegado ao poder pela via democrática. Vão ser retirados do poder democraticamente, deixando um país muito avariado atrás deles.
Também é um aprendizado. Nós já tivemos a nossa cota de imbecis; mas já voltamos à casta normal de políticos predadores. A vida que segue.
