Atenção usuários da plataforma Academia.edu
Alert to the users of Academia.edu platformSince some few days, I have been receiving messages like the one inserted below, which are clearly an attempt to commit fraud against me, or at least trying to offer some publication of some of my free articles in an obscure scientific journal, against payment, of course. I recommend not to answer and delete those messages immediately.

"Enc: Interest in Your Research on Brazilian Multilateralism and International Relations
Dear Professor Almeida,
I hope this message finds you well.
I have been following your work on Academia.edu, particularly your extensive research on Brazil’s multilateral diplomacy, historical sociology, and political development. Your analyses on the evolution of multilateralism—from Bretton Woods to contemporary challenges—have provided me with valuable insights for my own study on Brazil’s role in regional and global governance.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss your perspectives on how historical and diplomatic analyses can inform current international relations research, and to learn from your experience bridging academia and diplomatic practice.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Warm regards,
Xxxxxx Xxxx"
Beware, then!
