Is Russia wnning? SpiderWolve says NO!

Is Russia winning? Spider Wolve responds NO!

While America has been (rightly so) looking at what has been unfolding in LA this weekend, Ukraine has not paused in its war against Putin.

🇺🇦 Ukraine’s Weekend Offensive: June 7–9 Wins That Crushed Russia’s Illusions of Being an Actual Superpower. Again!

Over the weekend, Ukraine didn’t just play defense they dominated across the board. Here’s a run down of what went down: 🧵

✈️ Su-35 Shot Down Over Kursk (June 7)!!

One of Russia’s most advanced multirole fighters was obliterated over its own territory. The Su-35 isn’t easy or cheap to replace!!

Its downing shows Ukraine’s air defenses are now reaching well into Russia, threatening the air dominance that Russia has long enjoyed in its own airspace.

🔥 Fallout From “Operation Spiderweb” Still Smoldering

The June 6 coordinated drone strikes keep revealing their impact on the war:

~10% of Russia’s long-range strategic bomber fleet disabled

Damage confirmed at Olenya, Engels, and Dyagilevo airbases

With key aircraft hit: Tu-95, Tu-22M, A-50 AEW&C, all vital to Russia’s long-range and reconnaissance capabilities leaving Russia with an estimated $7+ billion in equipment losses. (553,051,024,400.0 rubles for those who were curious)

🎯 Targeted Strikes on Military Infrastructure

Ukraine didn’t stop at hitting Russian airfields:

They hit a Shahed drone component plant in Russia’s interior and struck MiG-31, Su-30, and Su-34 aircraft in their parking areas

Attacks reached deeper than ever showing the world that Ukraine’s drone reach and strike intel are now strategic-level threats.

📉 Russia’s Losses This Weekend (Estimated):

~1,120 soldiers killed or wounded [per day]

At least 1 aircraft downed (in their own territory!) with a second possible if I'm remembering correctly.

Multiple armored vehicles & anti-air systems lost

Drone and missile production disrupted once again.

🚨 Russia’s Response? A Massive Fail.

Russia launched its largest drone swarm yet in what they deemed 'revenge':

Launched 479 Shaheds in a single night

But! Ukraine shot down 460+

Damage? Minimal.

Goal? Likely revenge and morale.

Outcome? Another sign their “shock and awe” tactics are all shock, no awe. More flailing to of a paper tiger.

💡 What This Means:

Ukraine now controls the initiative choosing targets, setting tempo and making the Russians paranoid.

Russia’s long-range strike power is degrading, permanently with their significant losses to their strategic bomber force.

The myth of untouchable Russian airspace is shattered, joining the myth of Russia being the worlds 2nd strongest super power.

Putin’s “attritional war” model is eating itself alive and he shows no signs of backing down from it.

🧠 The War Has Changed.

This weekend proved Ukraine is no longer just holding the line. They are actively degrading the heart of Russia’s military capacity, not just on the front, but inside Russia itself.

And Russia?

Still throwing bodies, drones, and bombs.

Still bleeding.

Still losing.

There's probably some I left out, so apologies for that in advance!

Slava Ukraine!
