O que é este blog?

Este blog trata basicamente de ideias, se possível inteligentes, para pessoas inteligentes. Ele também se ocupa de ideias aplicadas à política, em especial à política econômica. Ele constitui uma tentativa de manter um pensamento crítico e independente sobre livros, sobre questões culturais em geral, focando numa discussão bem informada sobre temas de relações internacionais e de política externa do Brasil. Meus livros no Kindle, 336, de 2010 a 2020

Costumo ler meus livros em Kindle em vários devices; basicamente no próprio aparelho Kindle (agora um PaperWhite) e antes no iPad (mas já dei dois para os meus netos e não tenho mais nenhum, por enquanto). Mas também no iPhone (na cama, no metro, no carro, em qualquer lugar) e, mais raro, no próprio computador (antes iMac, agora MacBook Air), onde também acesso o Apple Books, ou iBooks (mais raro nos demais suportes: Kobo, antiga Saraiva, etc.), sem esquecer os livros em pdf, que entram em outros arquivos, também guardados em diferentes pastas do computador (ou no próprio Kindle, para onde envio papers ou livros inteiros de que disponho em pdf).
São tantos, que já nem sabia mais o que tinha ou que não tinha, tanto que quando ia descarregar um determinado livro, a Amazon me avisa que eu já comprei em tal data (obrigado Jeff Bezos).
Pois bem, resolvi colocar em ordem a listagem imensa dos livros descarregados no Kindle (que são, como disse, uma parte apenas de todos os livros à minha disposição).
A listagem deu 336, e no formato original deu 89 páginas.
Limpei todos os parágrafos dobrados e as informações dispensáveis, deixando apenas o título do livro, o nome do autor e a data de download. Deu 29 páginas, reformatadas em retrato A4.
Segue abaixo, para registro meu, para poder revisitar certos livros que já estão no pré-cambriano dos downloads, 2010 e anos seguintes.

O contrato assinado pelo deputado venezuelano Juan Guaidó com a empresa paramilitar estadunidense Silvercorp para tentar tomar o poder na Venezuela também tinha a previsão de cooperação de autoridades do Brasil. Segundo o documento, os militares dos Estados Unidos envolvidos na Operação Gedeón teriam livre acesso ao território brasileiro em caso de confronto com forças hostis ao novo regime, que seria presidido por Guaidó.
texto detalha que o espaço aéreo, terrestre e marítimo da Colômbia e do Brasil poderiam ser invadidos até mesmo sem consentimento prévio das autoridades de ambos países. 
Questionado pelo Brasil de Fato sobre a relação do governo brasileiro com a operação, o Ministério de Relações Exteriores brasileiro não respondeu até a publicação desta reportagem.

No entanto, a citação do Brasil no contrato não é a única evidência que sugere a relação do Estado brasileiro com os planos golpistas da oposição venezuelana.

Segundo a reportagem da BrasilWire, representantes da Silvercorp teriam visitado o Brasil durante as eleições presidenciais de 2018. O indício seriam publicações nas redes sociais Twitter e Instagram dez dias antes do segundo turno.
Os agentes da Silvercorp teriam feito parte da segurança pessoal do presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump.
Setembro de 2019
Nos dias 6 e 7 de setembro do ano passado, o departamento federal de investigação dos Estados Unidos, FBI, ofereceu um treinamento de combate à corrupção e suborno transnacional com agentes do Ministério Público Federal (MPF) e da Corregedoria Geral da União, como revelou reportagem da Agência Pública
As articulações entre o FBI e organismos de segurança brasileiros foram fortalecidas a partir da gestão de Sérgio Moro como ministro de Justiça e Segurança Pública. 
Em seguida, já no dia 11 de setembro de 2019, representantes do Brasil, da Colômbia e dos Estados Unidos junto a outros países do chamado Grupo de Lima (Paraguai, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Chile, entre outros) aprovaram a ativação de mecanismos do Tratado Interamericano de Assistência Recíproca (TIAR) contra a Venezuela.
Ao total foram 12 países do Conselho Permanente da Organização dos Estados Americanos (OEA) que pactuaram sancionar ex e atuais funcionários do governo do presidente venezuelano, Nicolás Maduro, supostamente envolvidos em crimes de lavagem de dinheiro e narcotráfico. Além de compartilhar informações de inteligência militar e financeira, e também criar uma rede de cooperação jurídica para combater supostos crimes internacionais do gabinete do governo bolivariano.

Pouco mais de um mês depois da ativação do TIAR, no dia 16 de outubro, foi assinado o contrato entre o deputado venezuelano Juan Guaidó, seus assessores JJ Rendón e Sergio Vergara com Jordan Goudreau, CEO da Silvercorp.
O documento teria validade de 495 dias, podendo sofrer um adendo de até 90 dias, e garantia o pagamento de US$ 212 milhões aos militares contratados para, entre outras coisas, sequestrar o presidente Nicolás Maduro e instaurar um governo comandando por uma "Junta Patriótica Restauradora".
Janeiro de 2020
No dia 20 de janeiro deste ano, foi celebrada na Colômbia a III Conferência Ministerial Hemisférica de Luta contra o Terrorismo, com a participação do secretário de Estado dos EUA, Mike Pompeo, e de Guaidó, que havia iniciado uma nova viagem internacional em busca de apoio para seus planos desestabilizadores. 
No encontro, também estiveram representantes da Argentina, Bolívia, Canadá, Chile, Colômbia, Costa Rica, Equador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, República Dominicana, Panamá, Paraguai, Peru, Santa Lúcia, Israel, México, Uruguai, Venezuela, o Comitê das Nações Unidas contra o Terrorismo e da Interpol.
Desde 2015, durante a gestão do presidente Barack Obama, a Venezuela entrou na lista dos Estados Unidos de países que contribuem com o terrorismo, junto com Cuba, Irã, Iraque, entre outras nações que sofrem sanções econômicas impostas pela Casa Branca.
Nessa Conferência, novamente Guaidó e Pompeo acusaram o governo de Nicolás Maduro de patrocinar grupos considerados terroristas, como a organização política libanesa Hezbollah e a guerrilha Exército de Liberação Nacional (ELN), da Colômbia.
Na declaração final, foi feito um acordo de redobrar esforços para combater as fontes de financiamento do que chamam de terrorismo, a partir da lavagem de dinheiro. Também renovaram o compromisso de fortalecer o controle das fronteiras, formando equipes conjuntas inclusive de investigação e inteligência financeira, a fim de localizar, rastrear, recuperar e apreender os bens de organizações consideradas criminosas em suas jurisdições.

Militares brasileiros participaram como observadores em exercícios conjuntos com forças armadas da Colômbia e dos EUA / Reprodução
Já uma semana depois, no dia 27 de janeiro, a 120 km de Bogotá, na base militar estadunidense de Tolemaida, os exércitos colombiano e estadunidense realizaram exercícios militares conjuntos. As forças armadas brasileiras também estiveram presentes como observadores.
As práticas simulavam uma operação de reforço aéreo entre paraquedistas estadunidenses e militares colombianos.
Não por acaso, uma das primeiras medidas do governo Bolsonaro foi buscar ceder a Base Aeroespacial de Alcântara, no Maranhão, para o Pentágono.
Março de 2020
Desde o início de 2019, Bolsonaro passou a reconhecer o autoproclamado presidente Juan Guaidó como chefe de Estado legítimo da Venezuela. No entanto, a ruptura completa das relações diplomáticas foi anunciada no dia 5 de março de 2020, com o encerramento da missão diplomática brasileira em território venezuelano.
Já no dia 7 de março, o presidente Jair Bolsonaro viajou aos Estados Unidos cumprindo uma agenda que incluiu uma reunião com o chefe da Casa Branca, Donald Trump.
No regresso, além de trazer na sua comitiva 23 pessoas infectadas com a covid-19, Bolsonaro voltou a animar manifestações para o dia 15 de março, que exigiam o fechamento do Congresso Nacional. 
No dia 26 de março, o procurador geral dos Estados Unidos William Barr acusou o presidente Nicolás Maduro e outros 13 cidadãos venezuelanos por supostos crimes de narcotráfico, lavagem de dinheiro e tráfico de armas. A denúncia foi apresentada ao Departamento de Justiça estadunidense e incluiu a oferta de uma recompensa de US$ 10 milhões pela captura do ex-militar venezuelano, Clíver Alcalá Cordones; o presidente da Assembleia Nacional Constituinte, Diosdado Cabello; Hugo Carvajal, ex-diretor de inteligência da Fanb; e Tarek El Aisami, vice-presidente de Economia da Venezuela.     
Também foi março o mês previsto para o início da Operação Gedeón, de acordo com os documentos confiscados pela Força Armada Nacional Bolivariana (Fanb) e pelo depoimento de um dos mentores do plano, o ex-capitão Cliver Alcalá Cordones.
No entanto, o plano teve de ser adiado para maio, depois que um veículo com 26 fuzis AR-15 – de fabricação estadunidense e sem número de série –, 28 visores noturnos e silenciadores foram encontrados em uma caminhonete na rodovia que liga Barranquilha à Santa Marta, na Colômbia, cerca de 100 km da fronteira com a Venezuela.
Até o momento, 67 pessoas já foram detidas pelas autoridades venezuelanas por participar da conspiração. O Ministério Público do país emitiu acusações formais a 22 pessoas envolvidas, entre elas, dois cidadãos estadunidenses, Airan Berry e Luke Denman, contratados pela Silvercorp e denunciados por terrorismo, conspiração, associação criminosa e tráfico ilícito de armas de guerra.
Além disso, o governo bolivariano denunciou a invasão paramilitar numa sessão do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas, no último dia 20 de maio.

Inquieta-me saber que os mais altos escalões da sociedade brasileira, os demais dirigentes políticos, os líderes empresariais, os oficiais de alta patente permaneçam INDIFERENTES à demonstração de INDIGNIDADE que transparece a cada linha desta entrevista com personagem tão nefasto para o presente e o futuro do Brasil.
