30 Years On: Empowering Asia's Economic Policymaking
The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA), a program for young officials from Asia-Pacific economies to pursue graduate degrees in Japan. With more than 950 scholarship recipients from 24 countries, JISPA has built a strong network of economic policymakers across the region. To commemorate this milestone, JISPA’s administrator, the IMF Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (OAP), will host a day-long event entitled ‘30 Years On: Empowering Asia’s Economic Policymaking’ to celebrate the program’s achievements and discuss further endeavors to tackle regional challenges.
The public can join the event online by registering here by noon, November 15 (Japan time).
