A Conferência de Segurança Internacional do Forte é um fórum de diálogo birregional que reúne tomadores de decisão, diplomatas, representantes das forças armadas e acadêmicos da América Latina e Europa com o objetivo de estimular o debate acerca de uma ordem internacional justa e pacífica. Em seus vinte anos de história, a Conferência tem facilitado um grande número de discussões relevantes, além da consolidação de uma rede internacional entre representantes de alto escalão. Considerando os desafios que se apresentam nessa nova era geopolítica, o tema central do XX Forte será "Ordem Global em Transformação: diante da Tempestade Perfeita". Por isso, o painel inaugural trará uma indagação que norteará toda a conferência: Qual o papel da América Latina e da Europa em uma Ordem Global em transformação?
Trata-se de uma edição presencial do evento no sentido de que teremos você e demais participantes especiais presentes no "Museu do Amanhã, no Rio de Janeiro, e espectadores do mundo todo pela plataforma digital. Infelizmente, os demais organizadores da Conferência não poderão custear voos e hospedagem no Rio. Caso você não possa participar de maneira presencial, apreciaríamos muito se pudesse acompanhar a transmissão ao vivo pelo streaming.

We are very pleased to invite you to take part in the Twentieth Edition of the “Forte International Security Conference,” the largest in Latin America, on the upcoming 1st and 2nd of June!
The “Forte International Security Conference” is a forum geared to a bi-regional dialogue that brings together decision-makers, diplomats, representatives from the Armed Forces, as well as academics from Latin America and Europe with a view to stimulating debate on a fair and peaceful international order. Throughout its twenty-year history, the “Forte Conference” has facilitated a great number of relevant discussions, in addition to strengthening an international network comprised of high-ranking members. In view of the challenges brought about by this new geopolitical era, the central topic of the “XX Forte Conference” will be "The Changing Global Order: Facing the Perfect Storm." Therefore, the Opening Panel will tackle an issue aimed at providing the backbone to the Conference: What is the Role of Latin America and Europe in a Changing Global Order?
This will be an onsite edition of the event, insofar as we will have you and other special guests present at the Museu do Amanhã, ("Museum of Tomorrow”), in Rio de Janeiro, as well as viewers from all over the world who will join us on the digital platform. Unfortunately, the conference organizers will not be able to defray the costs of air travel and lodging in Rio. Should you be unable to participate physically, we would value if you could follow the live broadcast via streaming.
