STUDENT DEMONSTRATIONS. Referring to a warrant of arrest issued against opposition leader Leopoldo López on the grounds of his alleged liability for the violent events taking place in Venezuela on Wednesday, dissenter Carlos Vecchio said in a press conference that López was "at his place standing up and being counted." He also noted that the opposition had nothing to be afraid of, nor did it take any sort of kickbacks.
