‼️ 🟩 ZELENSKYY: THE WORLD MUST NOT REMAIN SILENT AFTER RUSSIA’S ATTACK ON KYIV
🇺🇦 Following Russia’s devastating missile attack on Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the international community cannot allow such attacks to become routine and called for stronger action to protect Ukrainian lives.
After speaking with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Zelenskyy thanked Finland for its support and condolences, stressing that Ukraine’s most urgent need remains additional Patriot air defense systems and interceptor missiles.
“It is impossible to defend against ballistic missiles without a sufficient quantity of missiles for Patriots,” Zelenskyy said, calling the issue Ukraine’s top priority.
The two leaders also discussed which partners could help strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and agreed to continue coordinating efforts to secure additional support.
Beyond air defense, Zelenskyy said President Stubb highlighted the recent successes of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, noting that the battlefield is increasingly shifting in Ukraine’s favor and that Ukraine’s long-range strike campaign is placing growing pressure on Russia’s military and logistical infrastructure.
“This is the right pressure on Russia,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The leaders also explored ways to reinvigorate diplomatic efforts while discussing expanded bilateral defense cooperation. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine and Finland are now preparing to conclude important defense agreements in the near future.
His message was clear:
Ukraine is defending itself today, but it cannot do so alone. Every additional Patriot interceptor saves lives, every partner strengthens Ukraine’s resilience, and every step that increases pressure on Russia brings a just peace closer. 🇺🇦
